"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!

Hi! You don't know me, but I know Zelda-in-disguise, and she told me that you are her friend from... well... you know...the place you live and the place she used to live, so...HI!!!!!!
At the top right, it says friends and collect. Click friends and a list comes down. Click "Add/remove" and then on the right side, it says add a deviant. Underneath that it says "Username." Type in the friend you want to add and click submit. Oh wait, I you can also just go to the person's page and under their favorites, you can click "watch this deviant." That's the same as adding a friend.
